T3 Trading Group, LLC is an SEC-registered broker-dealer & Member of FINRA and SIPC. T3’s office headquarters is in lower Manhattan in the heart of the financial district. We provide active traders with the training and technology to proprietarily trade the markets. 

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team at T3 Trading Group as a Summer Intern. This position is ideal for a self-starter and quick learner with strong proficiency in data analysis. This office-based internship requires interns to report in person. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our back office operations, including the compliance and operations teams. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the proprietary trading industry as well as learn about various trading strategies. Additionally, there is potential for the intern to study for and obtain their Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Exam, laying the groundwork for a career in broker-dealer related finance and trading.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive support to the compliance and operations departments.
• Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations using Excel and PowerPoint.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of back office systems and procedures.
• Participate in compliance audits and help ensure that trading activities adhere to regulatory standards and company policies.
• Collaborate with team members across different departments to assist with various projects and initiatives.
• Engage in educational opportunities to understand the fundamentals of proprietary trading and financial markets.
• Demonstrate initiative by taking on additional responsibilities as needed to support team objectives.

Qualifications:

• Enrolled as a Junior or Senior Student in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; capable of effective teamwork.
• Quick learner, adaptable to evolving information and challenges.
• Highly detail-oriented, with superior organizational and time management skills.
• Interest or experience in financial markets or trading is advantageous.
