As a Proprietary Trader at T3, you will execute trades across financial markets. This opportunity allows you to implement your own trading strategies and make independent decisions to optimize profitability while being integrated into a seasoned trading community.

Responsibilities:

 
  • Execute trades in line with established trading strategies and risk management protocols.
  • Monitor market conditions, analyze pertinent data, and pinpoint trading opportunities.
  • Perform comprehensive research and analysis to create and refine trading strategies.
  • Utilize professional trading tools and technology to execute trades with precision.
  • Monitor and manage trade positions, including risk exposure and portfolio performance.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, economic news, and industry developments that may influence trading strategies.
  • Collaborate with fellow traders and teams to share insights and optimize trading results.
  • Continuously evaluate and refine trading strategies based on market conditions and performance analysis.
  • Adhere to regulatory and compliance guidelines relevant to trading activities.
  • Maintain records of trades, positions, and performance metrics.
 

Requirements:

 
  • A Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Documented success in trading in one or more financial markets.
  • Strong grasp of trading principles, market dynamics, and risk management strategies.
  • Proficiency in utilizing trading platforms and tools for trade execution.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to dissect complex data and make informed trading decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to function effectively under pressure and make sound decisions in fast-paced trading environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the aptitude to collaborate and share insights with fellow traders.
  • A high degree of self-motivation, discipline, and resilience.
  • Flexibility to adapt to fluctuating market conditions and trading strategies.
 

Regulatory Requirements for Prop Equities & Options Traders

All proprietary equities & options traders are licensed with the Securities Industry Essentials Exam and Series 57 (Securities Trader Representative Exam). We will sponsor all qualified candidates to take the exam(s).
